The GSISH symposium will take place in the Bavarian Alps, only one hour drive from Munich.

Getting there

By Car

From Munich (North)
Take the Autobahn (A8) to Salzburg and take an exit at Weyern. From there follow the highway to Miesbach. Follow signs to Schliersee, then to Spitzingsee. Approximate Distance from Munich: about 70 kilometers.

From Salzburg (East)
Take the Autobahn (A8) to Munich and take the Irschenberg Exit. Follow the signs to Miesbach, Schliersee and from Schliersee to Spitzingsee. Approximate Distance from Salzburg: 150 kilometers.

By Train

From Munich
Take the Bayerische Oberlandbahn (BOB) from Munich Main Station (Hauptbahnhof) to Bayerischzell and exit at Fischhausen-Neuhaus. Take a cab to the hotel.
